Caldo Verde (Spring green soup with chorizo) 500ml – serves two


Caldo Verde is the Portuguese national dish, here made richer with cream, but authentically bright with shredded greens and with spicy bits of chorizo at the bottom, this soup is free from nothing and totally delicious.


Potatoes (15%), spring greens (8%), leeks (8%), Spanish chorizo (4% – pork, paprika, salt, sugar, calcium lactate, garlic, trisodium citrate, sodium erythorbate, pentasodium triphosphate, disodium diphosphate, sodium acetate, sodium nitrite), water, butter (milk), celery, carrot, double cream (milk), nutmeg, salt & pepper.

Keep in the fridge and eat within use by date on lid. Once opened consume within 2 days.


Heat gently in a saucepan.
