Carrot and coriander soup 500ml – serves two
Carrot and coriander is the soup that launched the Covent Garden Soup Company and ‘fresh soup’ onto the supermarket shelves. Probably their best effort too.
Ours has a touch of our own curry masala, and is made with no compromises or preservatives.
A little tip
Lavishly buttered toast soldiers are a ‘must.’
Carrot (30%), fresh coriander (1.5%), onions, black peppercorns, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, Kashmiri chilli powder, cinnamon, turmeric, ground clove, garlic, ginger, Arborio rice, double cream (milk), unsalted butter (milk), salt
See ingredients in bold. Produced in a kitchen which handles milk, gluten, sesame, celery, lupin, nuts, eggs, soya, fish, mustard, peanuts, sulphites.
Keep in the fridge and eat within use by date on lid. Once opened consume within 2 days.
Heat gently in a saucepan. One pot serves two people.
Dairy free. Suitable for vegetarians.
