Greek style lentil soup 500ml – serves two
A staple of good Greek domestic cooking. Normally made with chicken stock but here meat free and all the better for it being a valuable and pleasant way to get fibre and non-meat protein into your system.
A little tip: Serve hot or chilled with a squeeze of lemon and a generous dollop of Greek yoghurt.
Ingredients: Lentils (16%), onion, carrot, tomato puree, celery, water, Italian extra virgin olive oil, red wine vinegar (sulphites), parsley, oregano, garlic, chilli flakes, bay leaf, rosemary, salt & pepper.

Storage: Keep in the fridge and eat within use by date on lid. Once opened consume within 2 days.
Cooking: Heat gently in a saucepan with a dash of olive oil warmed in the pan before the soup is added.
