Veal & spinach meatballs in tomato sauce 600g – serves two
Free from nothing, contains dairy, meat and gluten. Feeds two people comfortably when paired with rice, pasta or mashed potatoes. Another way of sneaking vegetables into your family’s diet because there is a significant amount of onion and spinach in the meatballs and onion and tomato in the sauce.
Ingredients: Tomatoes (40%), Dutch veal (min. 20%), spinach (min. 8%), parmesan (milk), onion, garlic, parsley, egg, breadcrumbs (wheat flour, yeast, salt, sugar, water), curry powder, tomato puree, Italian extra virgin olive oil, demerara sugar, chilli flakes.

Storage: Keep in the fridge and eat within use by date on lid. Once opened consume within 2 days.
Cooking: Transfer to an oven-proof dish adding two tablespoons of water to loosen the sauce, spooning it over the meatballs then cover loosely with foil. Heat oven to 175C and bake the meatballs until they are piping hot and the sauce is bubbling and beginning to darken.
